The main building is building number 4. Some of the guest rooms

overlook the Grand Lobby, while others are in wings that are

built around the courtyard area and extend out to the marina.

The concierge rooms & suites in the Grand Floridian's main

building may have Cinderella Castle views, Seven Seas Lagoon

views, Beach Pool or Courtyard Pool and garden views.

The guest accommodations at the Grand Floridian are located in the main building

and also in the five outer lodge buildings.

The main building guest rooms consist of the Royal Palm Club Concierge rooms and suites.

Sugarloaf Lodge is also concierge with standard style rooms, lodge tower rooms and suites.

The other four lodge buildings have standard rooms, lodge tower rooms, and suites of various views.

The views from the Grand Floridian are theme park view, garden view & lagoon view. These other four

outer lodges are named Sago Cay, Conch Key, Boca Chica, and Big Pine Key. The resort is very

well laid out with each lodge separated by meticulously maintained gardens, lamp lighted pathways,

and sparkling pools. Nothing is more than a couple minutes walk through the lovely resort grounds.

Each lodge location has it's own benefits.

The Grand Floridian's main building is nothing short of gorgeous.

It houses the magnificent 5 story Grand Lobby, which is loaded

with shops, restaurants, and more. Above, and surrounding the

soaring lobby area, is the Royal Palm Club. The Royal Palm Club

is accessible only through using a key in the gold concierge

elevators. Royal Palm Club consists of standard and deluxe

concierge guest rooms and suites and a spacious lounge

overlooking the lobby below. The main building itself and the

views from the rooms are spectacular. The rooms may have

anything from a magical castle view, to a lovely waterfall pool

view, or an expansive view of the lagoon. The second floor of

the lobby is where you exit the resort to board a monorail

to the Magic Kingdom or the other magic kingdom resorts.

The room numbers at the

Grand Floridian are coded.

The first digit of the four

digit room number is the

lodge, the second is the

floor, the third and fourth

are the room number.

There are laundry facilities

in all buildings except

Sugarloaf Key. There are

two washing machines and

two dryers in each lodge.

Conch Key would be the

most convenient from

Sugarloaf. The resort also

offers laundry service for

a fee.

From the farthest point

across the resort is at

most a 10 minute walk.

Some things that guests

request a room near are

either of the two pools, the

counter service restaurant,

the main building for it's

lobby shops & restaurants,

monorail transportation,

or the boat dock.

Sugarloaf Key is a concierge lodge building.

It is called Outer Lodge Concierge. Rooms in this lodge

cost more than the other outer lodge buildings. Sugarloaf is building

number 6. The guest rooms are numbered 6101 - 6424. Rooms in Sugarloaf

have views of either the marina or the courtyard. Sugarloaf has standard

rooms and suites and three lodge tower rooms that are available by request.

Sugarloaf is a key entry only building. There is a nice roomy first floor

lounge where snacks and drinks are offered throughout the day. Sugarloaf

is in a great location convenient to everything from the main building

and monorail transportation, to the boat dock,

Gasparilla's Grill, the marina

and the courtyard pool.

Conch Key Lodge

is the most convenient to the

Grand Floridian's Magic Kingdom boat dock.

This lodge has guest rooms with Theme Park, Garden,

and Seven Seas Lagoon views. Conch Key is lodge number 7.

Rooms 7101- 7518 are found in Conch. The beautiful two

bedroom Everglades Suite is at the end of Conch overlooking

the lagoon with beautiful views of Cinderella's Castle. Above

the Everglades suite is the Cypress Suite. Many guests

that prefer a water view for a garden view rate would

enjoy the marina views Conch offers.

Conch is also convenient to

Gasparilla's Grill.

Boca Chica is building number 8. All room numbers in this

building begin with number 8. Guest rooms 8101 - 8528 are found

in Boca Chica. This lodge is right on the edge of Seven Seas

Lagoon, with the opposite side bordering the courtyard pool

and facing toward the main building. The Boca Chica guest rooms

are Lagoon View, Theme Park View or Garden View.

Sago Cay Lodge is building number 5. Sago is a great location for those that want to be near the 24

hour counter service restaurant or prefer a water view for a garden view rate. Sago Cay has garden

view rooms that face the marina on one side and on the opposite side the lagoon & monorail. The far

end of Sago includes rooms that have unobstructed theme park and castle views. The enormous 2

bedroom Cape Coral Suite is at this end and has an unobstructed view of the castle. The marina area

is also one of the best places on Grand Floridian property to view Wishes. There is a convenient

short cut to the Grand Floridian bus stop from Sago. Sago is farthest from the pool areas but in

good proximity to the main building.

Big Pine Key is one of the lodges that borders the courtyard pool. It is building number 9.

Guest rooms 9101-9528 are found in Big Pine Key. On the far side of the lodge is easy

access to the Beach Pool. Big Pine Key is in close proximity to the main building & lobby

area. Many guests request it for this reason. There are nice garden views and Seven Seas

Lagoon views from this lodge. A few guest rooms have wonderful Theme Park views also.
